UPDATE: Bank Robbed inside Walmart in Gallipolis, Ohio

UPDATE 11/22/13 @ 5 p.m.
GALLIPOLIS, Ohio (WSAZ) -- The Gallipolis Police Department has released new video that shows the suspect who robbed the Ohio Valley Bank branch inside a Walmart Thursday evening.

Police hope someone will be able to identify the truck in the video, which in turn could lead them to the suspect.

"It's a red, crew-cab Chevy Silverado," Gallipolis Police Chief Clinton Patterson said. "It's got a tool box in the back made out of diamond plate, and it may have some damage along the driver's side."

After parking his vehicle, investigators say the man simply walked into the bank, handed the teller a note and then walked out with cash.

"As soon as he got the money, he just walked out," Chief Patterson said. "There were no threats of violence. As a matter of fact, watching the video, I don't think anybody else in the area even noticed that anything was going on."

Police say the suspect, who was caught on surveillance cameras during the robbery, knew the area and may have been inside the store earlier in the day.

"He did seem to be aware of where the cameras may have been, and tried to avoid looking directly into them," Chief Patterson said. "He kept his head down so the bill of his cap was partially covering his face as much as he could."

The fear now is the robber could strike again.

"Since he was successful, I could see him go back and trying it again somewhere else and maybe even the same location," Chief Patterson said.

Police say they've received numerous tips on Facebook and several calls into the station. They also tell they have a couple suspects.

Ohio Valley Bank President & CEO Tom Wiseman released the following statement Friday:

“The Ohio Valley Bank branch inside the Gallipolis Walmart opened at its regular 8 a.m. this morning for business as usual. Thanks to the quick thinking of our staff, customers remained safe during yesterday’s robbery, yet we ask everyone to remain vigilant as the police continue their search. Our gratitude goes to the Gallipolis Police Department for their hard work on this case and to our community for the outpouring of support and well wishes we’ve received.”

If you have any information about the robbery or the suspect, you're urged to call the Gallipolis Police Department.
