UPDATE 1/10/13 @ 11 a.m.
SCIOTO COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- Investigators say they are still looking for the man who robbed a Minford bank and then used a tellers’ truck to make his escape.

The robbery happened at the U.S. Bank branch along Ohio 139 in Minford Wednesday at 11:15 a.m.

Scioto County Sheriff Marty Donini said the man approached the bank on foot and, once inside, demanded money. He then fled with an undisclosed amount of money -- leaving the bank parking lot in a bank teller’s pickup truck.

The truck, a white, Ford F-150 with "Ford" across the windshield and a pink breast cancer sticker in the back window, was last seen heading south on East Street in Minford.

The suspect is described as a smaller stature man wearing blue jeans, tennis shoes, a dark-colored sweatshirt, and what appeared to be a ski mask covering his face.

Back on December 7 there was a similar style bank robbery in West Portsmouth.

A man armed with a pistol entered the WesBanco branch bank and demanded money.

The man then forced a teller give him her car keys and walk to the parking lot where he got into her car and drove away. The car was found a short time later, but the man is still on the run.

In that robbery, the suspect was believed to be in his mid-to-late 30s, 6’3”-6’5”, with a slim build. He wore black boots, blue jeans, black gloves, a hooded black jacket with a red stripe, black fabric covering his face below his nose, and sunglasses with dark lenses and frames.

Captain David Hall with the Sheriff’s Office told WSAZ.com that he didn’t believe the two robberies are related.

Sheriff Donini did say Wednesday’s robbery could be linked to some other crimes in the area.
