UPDATE: Gallia County Man Indicted for Murder

JACKSON, Ohio (WSAZ) – A grand jury has indicted James Arrowood, 27, of Patriot, Ohio for the murder of a man from Jackson, Ohio.

The Jackson County, Ohio grand jury indicted Arrowood on one count of aggravated murder, one count of obstructing justice, one count aggravated robbery, and two gun charges in connection with the murder of Aaron Charles, 36, of Jackson.

Arrowood was arrested March 9.

Jackson County Sheriff Tedd Frazier says Charles’ body was the day before in Gallia County.

Frazier says Charles was reported missing on March 5. According to people close to Charles, he had not been seen for days.

Investigators have still not released any details on how or when Charles died, or how the body was found.

Arrowood is being held in the Jackson County Jail on one million dollars bond.

JACKSON, Ohio (WSAZ) -- Bond has been set at $1 million for a Gallia County man charged with murder.

James Arrowood, 27, of Patriot, Ohio, was arraigned in Jackson Municipal Court Monday afternoon.

Arrowood was arrested Sunday and charged with the murder of Aaron Charles, 36, of Jackson.

Jackson County Sheriff Tedd Frazier says Charles’ body was found Saturday night in Gallia County.

Frazier says Charles was reported missing on March 5. According to people close to Charles, he had not been seen for days.

Investigators have still not released any details on how or when Charles died, or how the body was found.

Arrowood is being held in the Jackson County Jail. His preliminary hearing is set for March 18.

JACKSON, Ohio (WSAZ) – A man from Gallia County is being charged with murder in connection with the death of man from Jackson County, Ohio who was reported missing earlier this week.

James Arrowood, 27, of Patriot, Ohio was arrested Sunday and charged with the murder of Aaron Charles.

Jackson County Sheriff Tedd Frazier says Charles’ body was found Saturday night in Gallia County.

That same evening, multiple search warrants were secured and executed in Jackson and Gallia Counties by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office with the assistance of Gallia County Sheriff’s Office. Special Agents with BCI assisted in processing the scenes.

Frazier says Charles was reported missing on March 5. According to people close to Charles, he had not been seen for days.

Investigators have released any details on how or when Charles died.

Arrowood is being held in the Jackson County Jail. He is expected to be arraigned Monday in Jackson Municipal Court.

The case is being forwarded to Jackson County Prosecutor Justin Lovett.
