LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A boil water advisory has been issued for part of Lawrence County, Ohio.
The Hecla Water Association says the boil water advisory affects customers who live in Union Township.
The advisory is for folks who live along State Route 243 from the intersection of County Road 2, to the intersection of County Road 32. This also includes residents of County Road 32, County Road 68, County Road 104 and County Road 115.
Hecla says approximately 220 residences are affected by the boil water advisory.
This is all because of repair work to a water leak near the intersection of State Route 243 and County Road 118.
The advisory lasts until midnight Friday.
Hecla urges those customers to boil water before using for drinking or cooking.
