I-77N Reopens after Crash Sends Person to Hospital

JACKSON COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- All northbound lanes of I-77 in Jackson County, W.Va.are back open.

The crash happened about 5 a.m. Friday between Goldtown and Kenna.

A 911 dispatcher told WSAZ.com that the driver was trapped inside the Chevy Silverado truck for a short while.

The person's name and condition haven't been released.

JACKSON COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A person was flown to the hospital after a pickup truck crashed on I-77 in Jackson County.

The wreck happened about 5 a.m. Friday between Goldtown and Kenna.

A 911 dispatcher told WSAZ.com that the driver was trapped inside a Chevy Silverado truck for a short while.

The person's name and condition haven't been released.

The northbound lanes of I-77 between Goldtown and Kenna are still shut down.

JACKSON COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A crash on Interstate 77 is shutting down the northbound lanes.

A Jackson County 911 dispatcher told WSAZ.com that a truck crashed between Goldtown and Kenna.

Emergency crews are just getting to the scene so no word yet on whether anyone was injured.

The dispatcher said a truck rolled over when it crashed.

This crash has both northbound lanes closed.
