HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A woman escaped injury Monday evening in a car wreck on Interstate 64, just west of the Hal Greer Boulevard exit, according to a WSAZ.com crew at the scene.
Beth Sutfin of Huntington said she was cut off by a fast-moving Jeep in the westbound lanes of I-64.
It happened just after 7 p.m. Monday.
Sutfin's car spun out of control and went straight into the median. But instead of meeting eastbound traffic head-on, Sutfin's car was snagged by the cable barrier designed to help prevent such crashes.
The driver of the Jeep did not even stop to check on Sutfin, she told WSAZ.com.
