UPDATE: Cattle Truck Overturns Near Buffalo Bridge; Route 817 Reopens

PUTNAM COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Route 817 in Putnam County has reopened following a semi-truck crash involving cattle, according to DOH officials.
Dispatchers say a truck carrying cattle overturned near the Buffalo Bridge early Saturday afternoon.
All lanes of Route 817 were closed for most of the afternoon while crews worked to clean up the mess.
The driver of the truck did suffer minor injuries, according to dispatchers.
No word on what caused the truck to crash and topple over.

All lanes of traffic have been shut down.
