LAVALETTE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Customers and employees at a store in Lavalette got a quite a scare Thursday when a deer charged through the front window.
It happened just after 4:30 p.m. Thursday at the Goodwill Store.
Workers at the store tell WSAZ.com it looked like the deer was being chased by a neighborhood dog when it crashed into the window.
After stumbling around a bit, the deer was carefully herded by customers down the aisle and into the dressing room.
No one was injured and deputies say the animals' wounds are not fatal.
The front window was immediately fixed.
Employees at the store told WSAZ.com they will be open for business as usual Friday.
