Police Arrest Detroit Fugitive in Charleston

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A fugitive from Detroit is behind bars after escaping from federal agents.

Blake Sandlain was arrested Sunday night at an apartment on Dorchester Road in Charleston.

Charleston Police tell WSAZ.com Sandlain got away from agents by jumping out of a third story window of a home in Detroit where a large amount of heroin and drugs was found. Police in Charleston caught up with him after getting a call about suspicious activity on Dorchester Road.

Officer found in him hiding in a closet.

Police say they also found a gun and 50 grams of marijuana in the apartment.
