CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- It's a fresh look to a 30-year-old shopping experience.
The Charleston Town Center Mall just completed a six-month, $7 million renovation project to keep downtown a shopping hub.
Some of the upgrades include new floors, furniture, floor plans, restrooms and more to keep the mall experience and vision alive.
Kim Jarrouj shops the mall and thinks its important for malls to evolve with the times.
"We, as members of the community, enjoy a good shopping experience and I think the renovations here have enhanced our experience, not only the renovations but the new stores they put in the mall," Jarrouj said.
Kids will also enjoy their own area as Charleston Area Medical Center is sponsoring a new indoor play area and family restroom in the mall.
