CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Drivers along one busy road in Charleston have been noticing a mistake on a street sign.

The word Sissonville has an extra "i" on a sign recently installed at the corner of Sissonville and Chandler drives.

City officials tell WSAZ.com construction crews have been upgrading the road in that area. New street signs were needed and the contractor on the project mistakenly put up the misspelled sign.

Officials say the city will have the sign replaced very soon.
