One Hurt in Coal Truck Crash

CEDAR GROVE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A woman had to be cut out of her car after crash in eastern Kanawha County.

The accident happened just before 2 p.m. Friday on Route 60 in front of the Go-Mart in Cedar Grove.

West Virginia State Police tell WSAZ.com, a coal truck hit the side of a car.

The woman driving the car received some head injuries.

Route 60 was closed for about an hour. It's back open now.

CEDAR GROVE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Emergency crews are on the scene of a coal truck crash on Route 60 in eastern Kanawha County.

The accident happened just before 2 p.m. Friday in front of the Go-Mart in Cedar Grove.

Dispatchers say the coal truck and car collided.

Dispatchers say they are not sure if anyone has been hurt.

Route 60 is closed in both directions.
