VINTON COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- Columbia Gas of Ohio gave more than $40,000 to Vinton County on Monday for courthouse improvements.
The $43,000 check given to the Vinton County Commission will help pay for new gas boilers at the Vinton County Courthouse.
The money from Columbia Gas will cover about half of the cost for the boilers.
Columbia is making the grant as part of a program, which assists natural gas customers with energy-saving building improvement projects.
Vinton County is replacing an inefficient natural gas boiler system with new gas boilers that are 96 percent efficient.
