UPDATE 7/30/13 @7:45 a.m.
CABELL COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A volunteer firefighter, responding to a fire call, crashed his pickup into a mobile home along Route 10 in Salt Rock Tuesday morning.

The firefighter is with the Salt Rock Volunteer Fire Department. He and the two women in the trailer were not hurt.

The firefighter tells WSAZ.com that he was run off the road by another driver. He ended going off the road, then up the handicap ramp at the trailer before coming to a stop on the front porch of the home. The trailer has some very minor damage.

The homeowner tells WSAZ.com this is not the first time a vehicle has ended up on their property. The trailer is about 35-40 feet off of Route 10.

The firefighter was responding to a fire just after 6 a.m. at another mobile home on Calvary Lane, just off Guyan River Road, near Salt Rock. The fire was just about an eighth of a mile from where the firefighter was involved in the crash.

That trailer was destroyed in the fire. No word if anyone was home. Also, no word on a cause of the fire or reported injuries.

Firefighters from Salt Rock and West Hamlin battled the fire.
