Crown City Residents to Benefit from Water and Sewer Program
The Village of Crown City, along with Vinton County Commission, will receive state funding.

CROWN CITY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- Crown City is one of two local areas that will benefit from the Community Development Block Grant Program.
The Village of Crown City, in Gallia County, will receive $600,000 from the Water and Sanitary Sewer Program to construct a new wastewater treatment plant. The money will also help install 41,000 feet of sewer lines, two lift stations and 20 grinder pumps.
The village will also assist 40 low and moderate income households to connect to the new system.
176 households in total will benefit from this project.
Vinton County Commission also received $50,000 from the program to continue its existing Microenterprise Business Development Program to provide training and technical assistance to 50 microentrepreneurs and provide working capital loans to prospective local businesses.
