UPDATE: Second Arrest Made in Go-Mart Theft

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A second arrest has been made in connection with a theft at a gas station in Cross Lanes, W.Va.

Tyler Williams was arrested Wednesday and charged with breaking and entering, according to Kanawha County Sheriff's deputies.

They say Williams stole four bank deposit bags from the Go-Mart in Cross Lanes. It happened early Monday morning.

Gay Washington is also facing charges in the case. Deputies say he helped Williams steal the cash.

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- One of the two suspects wanted in connection with a theft at a Go-Mart in Kanawha County is now in police custody.

The theft happened about 5 a.m. Monday at the Go-Mart in Cross Lanes.

Kanawha County Sheriff's Deputies tells WSAZ.com Gay Washington was arrested Tuesday afternoon and charged with accessory before the fact to breaking and entering.

Deputies say Tyler Williams and Washington pulled up to the Go-Mart in a black Ford Ranger filled with wooded pallets and other items.

Deputies say that's when surveillance cameras show Williams walking to the front of the business and then to a back door where he went inside the store's office and took four bank bags.

In the meantime, Washington went to the side of the business and took off his clothes. Deputies say Washington walked around the business in his underwear and socks and then tried to get in a locked bathroom outside.

The store was opened at the time, but the clerk was busy assisting customers and didn't notice anyone coming in the back door.

Deputies are still looking for Williams. When he is arrested deputies say he will be charged with breaking and entering.

The theft happened about 5 a.m. Monday at the Go-Mart in Cross Lanes.

Deputies say Tyler Williams and Gay Washington pulled up to the Go-Mart in a black Ford Ranger filled with wooded pallets and other items.

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The Kanawha County Sheriff's Department is asking for the public's help to identify two men they say stole four bank bags from a convenient store.

It happened about 5 a.m. Monday at the Go-Mart in Cross Lanes.

According to a news release, the two men pulled up to the Go-Mart in a black Ford Ranger filled with wooded pallets and other items. The passenger went to the front of the business and then to a back door where deputies say he went inside the store's office and took four bank bags.

Meanwhile, the driver of the truck went to the side of the business and took off his clothes. Deputies say the man walked around the business in his underwear and socks and then tried to get in a locked bathroom outside.

The store clerk was busy assisting customers and didn't notice anyone coming in the back of the store, according to the news release.
