CATLETTSBURG, Ky. (WSAZ) -- One person has been arrested in connection with a home robbery in Catlettsburg, but investigators are still trying to track down three more suspects.

Boyd County Sheriff Terry Keelin tells WSAZ.com that one suspect, Reggie Jackson, 25, of Ashland, Ky., has been arrested in connection with the burglary. He is being charged with receiving stolen property.

Three other suspects wanted for questioning are still being sought.
Surveillance cameras from Pawn Express in Ashland captured images of the men who tried to pawn a TV set without a remote.

Keelin said that was a red flag.

"Home invasions are up," he said. "This time of year, people need to be alert to anything suspicious in their neighborhoods."

ORIGINAL STORY
CATLETTSBURG, Ky. (WSAZ) -- The Boyd County Sheriff is on the hunt for three suspects wanted in connection with a home burglary.

"It's one thing to have Christmas presents stolen," said Janet Gills of Catlettsburg. "What makes me angry is they've also stolen my sense of security."

Boyd County Sheriff Terry Keelin tells WSAZ.com that the three men, featured in the pictures, broke into a home in the 5000-block of Tarpin Ridge Road about 1 p.m. Thursday.

According to Sheriff Keelin, the men watched the homeowners leave and then forced their way in through the back door of the house.

Keelin says the men stole jewelry, a television and a gun.

"It's Christmas, the economy's not great, and we have a drug problem," says Sheriff Keelin. "Mix all that together and this time of year, this type of crime is up 10 to 15 percent."

Sheriff Keelin tells WSAZ.com that the men were last seen driving a red two-door hatch-back with tinted windows and gray interior.

A fourth suspect, Reggie Jackson, 25, of Ashland, Ky., has been arrested in connection with the burglary. He is being charged with receiving stolen property.

The Sheriff is asking anyone who may able to identify these suspects, captured by a pawn shop surveillance camera, to give the Boyd County Sheriff's Office a call. You can call 606-739-5135 or the dispatch center at 606-329-9911.
