Dog in Boone County Rescued After Being Tossed from Car

MADISON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A small dog, who is now being called "Roady," was thrown from a moving car in Boone County on Friday.

It happened early that afternoon in the Big Ugly area.

The witness to the incident took the dog to Madison Animal Hospital.

The good news is that he didn't have any injuries.

Roady is now in the care of the Boone Animal Rescue Coalition.

The organization will have a booth set up in the Madison Animal Hospital Parking Lot, where you can meet Roady and the other animals they are working to help.

According to BARC leaders the witness to the dog throwing filed a report with law enforcement.

As soon as suspect vehicle information is available, we will pass it along.
