BOYD COUNTY, Ky (WSAZ) -- After giving investigators two fake names, fighting with them and trying to run away, a man is now behind bars.

Tevin Makail Brooks, 20, from Detroit is now facing a list of charges including resisting arrest, fleeing and evading police.

It all started early Saturday morning with a traffic stop at the Ashland Bus Station.

Sheriff's deputies say they noticed something suspicious in Brooks' waistband. That's when he fought off the officers and got away.

However, they later found him hiding behind a bush -- with a large bag filled with pills.

Brooks is now in the Boyd County Detention Center.
