Drugs Found in Car Involved in Crash on Airport Road; Two Sent to Hospital

Officers say the driver of a car containing heroin and drug paraphernalia hit another car in the side.

WAYNE COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Two people were sent to the hospital, and heroin and drug paraphernalia were found in a car involved in a two-car crash Friday night on Airport Road, Kenova Police say.

The accident was reported just after 9 p.m. Friday, and it temporarily closed Airport Road in both directions.

The injuries to the two people are described as non-life threatening.

Officers say the driver of the car containing the heroin and drug paraphernalia hit the other car in the side.

Charges are pending.
