CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man who pleaded guilty to having thousands of child pornography images on his laptop computer was sentenced to 16 years in prison.
Ryan Montgomery, of Dunbar, was sentenced Monday in Kanawha County Circuit Court.
A computer technician found the graphic child porn on Montgomery's computer when he took it in for repairs last year.

Kanawha County Sheriff's Deputies say Montgomery took his laptop computer to a repair shop in South Charleston back in February.
The repair technician found several files of graphic child pornography and called police.
Deputies did a detailed search and found several files that contained images of a known child victim, according to court records.
During the hearing Monday, Montgomery pleaded not guilty. His trial is set for Sept. 10.
