Firefighters Battle Early-Morning House Fire

GUYANDOTTE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- An early morning fire in Guyandotte has damaged a home.

Cabell County 911 dispatchers tell WSAZ.com that the fire started around 3:00 AM Wednesday morning on the 3300 Block of Fourth Avenue.

Huntington Fire Department crews were on the scene for a couple of hours extinguishing the flames of the single-story house fire.

Dispatchers said it was a fully-involved structure fire when crews arrived on the scene.

No one was home when the fire started. There were no injuries.

Fire investigators have already examined the scene.

The cause of the fire is not known at this time.
