Elderly Man Dies in House Explosion in Ritchie County, W.Va.

PENNSBORO, W.Va. (AP) - A man killed in an explosion at his home in Ritchie County has been identified.

According to the Associated Press, no foul play is suspected in the death of 73-year-old Robert Lee Holmes.

The explosion occurred at Holmes' home in Pennsboro on Oct. 21.

An investigation is continuing.

West Virginia State Police and the State Fire Marshals Office believes the explosion was caused by a natural gas leak.
