Elderly Man Found Dead in Northern Kanawha County

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- West Virginia State Police tell WSAZ.com the body of a missing elderly man has been found in northern Kanawha County.
Troopers say Daniel Earl Kennedy was last seen about 3 p.m. Thursday in the woods near Dutch Ridge Road.
West Virginia State Police, Kanawha County Sheriff's Department, Pinch Volunteer Fire Department and Kennedy's family spent hours searching the area.
Troopers say they found Kennedy's body about a mile from the road.
The medical examiner says it appears Kennedy died from natural causes.
He was 76 years-old.
