HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- An elderly woman was sent to the hospital after and hit-and-run accident and now police are searching for the driver.
According to the Huntington Police Department, an elderly woman was driving her car down Hal Greer Boulevard about 10:30 a.m. when another car tried to merge into her lane. During the merge, that car clipped the front of her car -- sending her onto the sidewalk and into some landscaping.
The woman was taken to the hospital after the accident. No word on her injuries.
Police are searching for a red car with rear end damage.
