LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A fire that destroyed a home on Monday morning is believed to be suspicious.

The fire happened at 940 County Road 204 in Lawrence County, Ohio.

Don Christian, Windsor Fire Chief, tells WSAZ.com when his crew got on scene, the home was fully involved.

No one was home at the time of the fire. Neighbors told investigators on the scene that the homeowner is out of town, and had been trying to sell the home.

At this time, Christian says there is no word on what caused the fire, but they do believe it is suspicious. He tells WSAZ.com the fire started in a rear corner of the home, in a doorway.

The Ohio State Fire Marshal's Office has been called in to investigate the fire.
