Family Loses Home in Morning Fire

JACKSON COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A family is without a home just weeks before Christmas.

The fire broke out along Route 33 in the Marshall Area of Jackson County Friday about 9 a.m.

Dispatchers say everyone was able to make it out of the home safely. But, firefighters were not able to save the house.

There is no word on what started the fire.
