SOUTH POINT, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A father and son from South Point, Ohio have been arrested on drug trafficking charges.
Officers from the Lawrence County Drug and Major Crimes Task Force, the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office, and the Ironton Police Department arrested Larry Layman, 63, and Steven Layman, 31, at their homes Wednesday night..
Investigators say officers seized oxycodone, alprazolam, cocaine, marijuana, $41,000 in cash, two guns, and two vehicles at Larry Layman’s residence. They say the drugs have an estimated street value of $10,000.
The father and son will be arraigned Friday in Lawrence County Municipal Court.
