HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Fire heavily damaged a nightclub along 4th Avenue near the intersection of 15th Street on Friday evening, Cabell County 911 dispatchers say.
The building was "well involved," with black smoke showing when Huntington Fire crews arrived, dispatchers said. The fire was reported about 6:30 p.m. Friday.
The building contains a nightclub known as Barcode, which is in the vicinity of Marshall University's campus.
Three engine companies responded to the scene. No one was hurt.
The cause of the fire was unknown, but the fire marshal is investigating.
