Fire Damages Vacant Home Near Point Pleasant, W.Va.

At one point, the fire was so big that flames could be spotted from W.Va. 2. It happened about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, just outside of Point Pleasant in Mason County.

MASON COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Fire Tuesday evening damaged a house along W.Va. 2 outside of Point Pleasant.

At one point, the fire was so big that flames could be spotted from W.Va. 2. It happened about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The Point Pleasant Fire Chief said it looks like it may be an electrical fire, but the exact cause is still under investigation.

No one is currently living in the house.
