JACKSON COUNTY, W.VA. (WSAZ) -- Firefighters responded to a barn fire late Friday night and worked into early Saturday morning.

The Ripley Fire Department got the call about 11 p.m. Friday in South Hill, just outside of Ripley.

By time they arrived on scene, the building was already destroyed.

The owner lost some hay equipment along with a camper that was stored inside.

However, they were able to move a truck out before it was too late.

No animals were inside the barn and nobody was hurt in the fire.
