PUTNAM COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A cabin along Sugar Camp Road in Hurricane burned to the ground Friday evening by the time firefighters were able to safely get to the scene.

It happened about 5:30 p.m. Friday.

Firefighters from three departments were called out. Because the roads were so slick, it took time and four-wheel drive vehicles to get out to fight the fire. By that time, the cabin was already destroyed.

No one was hurt.
