Fire Destroys Home; Neighbors Believe Weather to Blame

SISSONVILLE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A family is without a home after a fast moving fire.

It happened on Derricks Creek Road in Sissonville about 1 p.m. Thursday.

Neighbors tell WSAZ.com, they heard a loud boom and then saw smoke and flames pouring from the house.

A thunderstorm was moving through when the fire started, a neighbor says he thinks lightning is to blame.

Four people lived in the home.

None of them were home when the fire broke out.
