Fire Safety Complaint Filed Against Troubled Bar

CROSS LANES, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Trouble continues to add up for a bar in Cross Lanes that was the scene of a massive brawl and shootout.

The Kanawha County Planning Commission has filed a complaint with the West Virginia Fire Marshal's Office against Appetizers. has obtained a copy of the complaint.

It says the bar has only one visible exit, no sign posted listing maximum occupancy and several other fire safety issues.

Just last week, Appetizers was the scene of a shooting where 50 shots were fired.
A man was hit in the leg.

No arrests have been made in the case.
