SISSONVILLE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A massive gas pipeline explosion in Sissonville last week has neighbors still on edge.
Firefighters were called to an area near Sissonville Middle School Wednesday morning because people called saying they smelled a strong odor of natural gas.
When crews showed up they say they did find a faint odor of natural gas near a small pipeline.
The company that owns the line was called in to check it out.
Firefighters say no one was ever in any danger.
Last week a gas line explosion destroyed four homes and damaged several others in the Sissonville. That pipe was owned by Columbia Gas.
