Former Employee Charged with Embezzling from Workplace

MILTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A woman from Milton has been arrested and charged with embezzling funds from her former workplace.
Milton Police say that Angela Harrison, 37, allegedly stole $1,941 in bank deposits from the Pizza Hut in Milton.
According to the criminal complaint, Harrison signed a log book showing that she made the deposits on September 7 and 14.
Police say four days after the second deposit was supposed to be made, Harrison never returned to work.
On September 20, Milton Police stopped Harrison’s vehicle. Inside, the officer said he found a Pizza Hut deposit bag.
Harrison was arrested on the embezzlement charge Wednesday.
