CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A former DHHR case worker in Logan County has pleaded guilty to fraud.

Prosecutors said that in 2009, Collins, also known as Shannon Varney, used the Social Security numbers of two deceased people to claim their benefits.

Collins also obtained Mountain State Cards (food stamps), which she used from April to December of 2009. The total combined loss was more than $58,000.
