HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A woman who was arrested last week on drug charges in Huntington is in trouble again, even though she has been in jail since the arrest.
Along with her original possession charges, Allison Workman from Huntington is now facing seven more possession charges along with transporting a controlled substance into jail.
West Virginia State Police say they received a drug complaint from the Western Regional Jail Tuesday.
Troopers were told inmate Allison Workman had distributed heroin to several other inmates in her pod.
Workman admitted that when she was arrested on July 6, she smuggled heroin into the jail in her private parts.
According to the criminal complaint, Workman told troopers that she brought the drugs with her because she did not want to go through withdrawals in jail.
Workman said she told another inmate she had the heroin on her and the other inmate told the others in the pod.
She admitted that she gave the other inmates the heroin.
Trooper W.G. Hash tells WSAZ.com they got a tip about drug activity at an apartment in the 2500-block of 4th Avenue.
Troopers say they had planned on talking to the residents; instead they ended up arresting four people.
Hash says two of the people were arrested before officers got inside the apartment.
Jimmy Damon, 33, of Huntington, was stopped after leaving the apartment. They say he had about 9 grams of marijuana on him, Hash says Damon told troopers he got it from inside the apartment.
He is charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Hash tells WSAZ.com that they also arrested Pasha Ellis, 36, of Detroit. They say a taxi dropped Ellis off at the apartment. He is charged with possession of a controlled substance because he had heroin on him. He was also there was a felony misdemeanor warrant out for his arrest.
State Police then called Huntington Police for assistance.
Once inside the apartment, the criminal complaints say the officers seized heroin, crack cocaine, power heroin, marijuana, a loaded revolver and drug paraphernalia.
Joshua Cobble, 23, and Allison Workman, 22, both residents of the apartment, were arrested and each charged with three counts of possession with intent and conspiracy.
According to the criminal complaints, troopers say the two admitted to selling heroin out of the residence for three people from Detroit. They said this had been going on for the past one to months. They also said the three unnamed people from Detroit supplied them with the drugs,
Both people are being held in the Western Regional Jail.
