ASHLAND, Ky. (WSAZ) -- Unbeknownst to nearly everyone, Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear was in Ashland on Tuesday evening, but he wasn't there to talk about the water crisis.
Beshear attended a fundraiser for his son's campaign for attorney general.
Ashland City Commissioner Kevin Gunderson, who was photographed with the governor, told us Beshear didn't promise anything -- but simply said he's aware of the situation.
We contacted Beshear's office Tuesday afternoon, while he was apparently on the way to Ashland, to see if we could arrange an interview.
On Tuesday night, a spokeswoman for the governor said she was unaware of his evening activities.
