Grant will help Increase Recycling Efforts at University of Charleston

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- University of Charleston officials are expanding recycling efforts on campus.
A grant from the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection's Recycling Assistance Program will provide the University with $22,000.
The UC Facilities Department applied for the grant with assistance from the Kanawha County Solid Waste Authority.
The money will be used to purchase a new utility vehicle with a trailer to haul recyclable materials across campus.
