MEIGS COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- In the near future, residents of Pomeroy, Ohio, should see an improvement in their water quality.
U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, announced Friday that a $250,000 grant Appalachian Regional Commission and a $500,000 grant from the Ohio EPA will be used to replace the main water line that leads to the water treatment plant.
“These new resources will help the Village of Pomeroy make long-overdue updates and maintain modern, well-connected infrastructure,” Brown said
No timetable was given for the completion of the work.
