UPDATE: Water Service Restored to Greenup, Lloyd Areas

UPDATE 1/9/12 @ 3:30 p.m.
GREENUP COUNTY, Ky (WSAZ) -- Greenup County 911 says a water main break that disrupted service to portions of the county on Monday has been repaired.

Dispatchers with 911 say water service has been restored to customers in both the Greenup city limits and the Lloyd area.

There's no word if a boil water advisory has been issued for those areas.

GREENUP COUNTY, Kentucky (WSAZ) -- A large water main break has caused a disruption in water service in Greenup County, Kentucky.

The Greenup County E-911 center tells WSAZ.com the Greenup and Lloyd areas are without water.

The outage will last until further notice.

There is no estimate as to when water service will be restored.
