Grocery Store in Putnam County Robbed at Knifepoint

BUFFALO, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A grocery store in Putnam County was robbed at knifepoint during the weekend.

Sheriff Steve Deweese tells WSAZ.com a man walked into the Food King along Route 62 in Buffalo on Sunday.

The suspect pulled out a knife and demanded money. He was able to get away with cash before investigators arrived.

Deweese says the suspect is described as a white man, 6-feet foot tall, weighs 150 to 160 pounds. He was wearing baggy jeans, black gloves and a grey-hooded sweatshirt with a black mask over his face.
