DUNBAR, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A hearse stolen from a Dunbar funeral home has been recovered by police.
Dunbar Police Chief E.E. Whittington tells WSAZ.com that the Charleston Police Department recovered the hearse about 10:40 a.m.
on Red Oak Street in Charleston.
Chief Whittington says the hearse was seen in several areas throughout the Charleston area and that they are trying to recover surveillance video.
When the person or persons responsible for stealing the hearse are found, they will be charged with grand theft auto.
The hearse was stolen from Keller Funeral Home in Dunbar early Wednesday morning.

The Associated Press says the black 2003 Chevrolet Suburban was stolen Wednesday morning from a funeral home worker's residence in Dunbar.
A Metro 911 dispatcher says the vehicle is labeled "hearse" and its front license plate reads "Keller Funeral Home." The license plate lumber is 3EF-147.
