Hood Named Cabell Circuit Clerk

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Huntington businessman Jeff Hood has been selected to replace Adel Chandler as Cabell County Circuit Clerk.
Chandler who has served as Circuit Clerk for the past 23 years is retiring at the end of the month.
Hood was selected as her replacement by the Cabell County Circuit Judges. His first day in the position is December 1.
He will serve as Circuit Clerk until the next general election in November 2014.
Hood is owner and operator of Hood Enterprises. He will be sworn in Monday at 1:30 at the Courthouse.
