UPDATE: I-64 Reopens by 29th Street Exit Following Two Crashes

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- All lanes of I-64 by the 29th Street exit are back open.

Traffic was at a standstill for about an hour and a half while crews cleaned up two accidents involving several vehicles.

Police say the first accident involving a tractor trailer happened in the west bound lanes.

They believe a driver looking at that crash is what caused the second accident in the eastbound lanes.

All lanes were closed for more than an hour and a half while crews cleaned up the accidents.

Several people were taken to the hospital, but no serious injuries were reported.

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- All four lanes of I-64 near the 29th Street exit in Huntington are closed.

911 dispatchers say a crash involving a tractor trailer and several other vehicles happened about 6:45 p.m. Saturday.

The crash occurred in the westbound lanes.

No injuries have been reported and there's no time frame on when traffic will start moving again.

WSAZ has a crew headed to the scene.
