JACKSON COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- An employee at the Jackson County, Oho Clerk's Office has been suspended from her job after being arrested on drug charges.
The Jackson County Sheriff's Office says they executed a search warrant early Wednesday morning at a home on Hunt Street in Jackson, Ohio.
Four people were arrested.
Cassie M. Essman, 29, of Jackson, was charged with possession of drugs, possession of paraphernalia, permitting drug abuse and child endangering.
Essman is an employee of the Jackson County Clerk's Office. She has been suspended from her duties pending further investigation, according to the Sheriff..
Jason D. Tipton, 33, of Jackson, was charged with custody for trafficking in drugs, permitting drug abuse and child endangering.
Lamar F. Collins, 26, of Columbus, was charged with trafficking in drugs, conveyance into correctional facility, possession of drugs and child endangering.
Benjamin L. Glenn, 28, of Columbus, was charged with trafficking in drugs and child endangering.
Other charges may be presented to the Jackson County Prosecutor's Office.
According to the sheriff's office, Jackson County Municipal Court Judge Mark Musick said he will turn the matter over to Gallipolis Municipal Court for further proceedings.
