Kenova Police Searching for Burglary Suspects

KENOVA, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Police are still searching for two suspects in the burglary of a Kenova bar and gambling parlor.

It happened Wednesday on Poplar Street in Kenova. Police Chief Ray Mossman says officers still need your help to identify the suspects.

The owner of Mitzy's, Mitzy Patterson, says the men tried to steal money from the ATM, jukebox, and two gambling machines.

She says they broke in through the back door and bathroom wall and got away with nearly $1,000.

Patterson says it wasn't the welcome she was hoping for in her new location.

"It's creepy to know that someone was in here and violated me like that," said Patterson. "It's frustrating because I've only been here two months."

If you have any information on the two men, call the Kenova Police Department.
