Kenova Sewer Rate Hike

KENOVA, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Folks in Kenova will soon see in increase in their monthly bills.

Kenova City Council tonight approved the second reading of anordinance authorizing a sewer rate hike surcharge.

The vote was unanimous.

Council members say the surcharge is necessary to pay down debt.

Residents will see an increase of one dollar and 35 cents a month on their bill.
