Kroger is Open After a Small Fire

CROSS LANES, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A grocery store on Big Tyler Road was evacuated after smoke was seen inside the building.

Metro dispatch received a structure fire call from Kroger about 4:43 a.m. Tuesday.

Workers said a freezer inside the store caught fire.

Firefighters were able to quickly put the fire out.

No one was injured.

Kroger told WSAZ.com the store is open for business.
